QuantoPick is designed to work without user accounts or personal data collection. Here is what we use:

• Local Storage: We store your watchlist, portfolio data, theme preference, and country selection in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
• No Account Data: We do not require registration, login, email addresses, or any personal information.
• No Server-Side User Data: We do not store any user-specific data on our servers.

3. Cookies

QuantoPick itself does not set cookies. However, the following third-party services may use cookies:

• Google Analytics (GA4): Used to understand how visitors use our site (page views, traffic sources, device types). Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users. Data is aggregated and anonymized.
• Cloudflare: Our CDN provider may set security cookies to protect against malicious traffic.
• Ad Networks: If advertisements are displayed, third-party ad networks may use cookies for ad targeting and measurement.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our platform:

• Yahoo Finance: Stock data, fundamentals, earnings dates, dividend information, and chart data.
• Google News: Market news articles via RSS feed.
• Wikipedia: Company descriptions and sector information.
• Google Fonts: Typography (Inter font family).
• TradingView: Stock chart widgets (where applicable).

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Data Storage and Security

All personal preferences (watchlist, portfolio, theme) are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. We do not transmit, collect, or have access to this data. Clearing your browser data will remove these preferences.

6. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage statistics including pages visited, time on site, referral sources, and device information. This helps us improve the platform. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Children's Privacy

QuantoPick is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7a. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

QuantoPick uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage) in three categories:

• Necessary — always on. Used for country selection, theme, watchlist, and consent state. No third-party data sharing.
• Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Used to measure traffic and improve the product. Enabled only with your consent.
• Marketing — Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag. Used for retargeting and campaign measurement. Enabled only with your consent.

You can review or change your choices at any time via the Cookie settings link. Our cookie banner implements Google Consent Mode v2, meaning analytics and ad services receive only aggregated, consent-gated signals until you explicitly opt in. This policy is compliant with the EU GDPR, UK GDPR / PECR, and India's DPDPA 2023.
